Baking rack

For baking, cooling and resting food.

A baking rack made from uncoated 304 stainless steel. Choose S, M or L. Each rack is sold separately, without a baking sheet.

  • Let it rest. Rest a steak, drain freshly fried food or cool a batch of biscuits. Give it a little space before the first bite.
  • Smooth steel. No coating. The surface is electropolished for a smooth finish. Use it in the oven and wash it in the dishwasher.

Materials and safety

304 stainless steel. 304 is the grade of stainless steel used to make the rack. Food comes into direct contact with the steel.

Electropolishing. This process smooths the metal surface. It does not add a coating.

Use and care
  1. Place on a baking sheet. Choose a rack and baking sheet in the same size. The sheet underneath will catch juices and crumbs.
  2. Bake on the rack. Arrange the food in a single layer. Air can circulate underneath it too.
  3. Rest after frying. Let meat rest or drain breaded food. It will not sit in its juices and fat.
  4. Cool your bakes. Place biscuits or bread on the rack. Steam can escape from underneath as well.

Dishwasher safe. The rack is dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing to preserve its appearance.

Rest the steak. Keep the crunch.

Steak needs a rest. Breaded food needs to drain. Biscuits need to cool. Here's a place for all three.

Rest the steak before slicing. A baking sheet underneath catches the juices.

Let excess fat drain away, rather than leaving fried food sitting in it.

Give biscuits and bread room to cool, with air underneath and space for steam to escape.

Choose a baking sheet

Let the sheet catch the rest.

Put a matching Baking sheet underneath to catch drips and crumbs. Choose the same size for both: S, M or L.

Baking sheet is sold separately. Buy the pair and save PLN 10 on the rack.

From the oven to a proper rest

Step 1

For baking

Place the rack on a matching tray and check that it sits steadily. Spread the food evenly.

After frying

Rest meat on the rack, or use it to drain fried food. Put a tray underneath to catch the juices and fat.

For cooling

Move baked goods onto the rack so air can reach underneath. Use oven gloves to handle a hot rack.

Does the rack come with a baking sheet?

No. You'll receive one Baking rack in your chosen size. Select the matching Baking sheet as an add-on to put both in your cart together.

How do I choose the rack size?

Match an S rack with an S sheet, M with M and L with L. You will find exact measurements for all three in the Dimensions section.

Can I use the rack in the oven?

Yes. Place it on a matching baking sheet to catch juices and fat.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?

Yes. To preserve its appearance, though, we recommend hand washing and thorough drying.
